Welcome to Grandparentgames.com

I created grandparent games (http://www.grandparentgames.com) so I could interact with my daughter Hana's new born son, Milo. Milo is, as I write this, two years and five months old. He calls me Papa. In this blog I will be writing about my experiences with Milo, and my son Joshua's four month old Max. The purpose of this blog is to tell people my experiences with teaching Milo and Max to read and do math using grandparent games, and, to have users of grandparent games have a place to tell about their experiences with their own grandchildren.

grandparentgames.com is going to be a GREAT thing for grandparents and grandkids alike. Parents, too. It's a way to bond from a distance, building memories--and teaching kids that it's FUN to read!

Roger, you started a very interesting project with your grandchild! I look forward to his progress soon...also I look forward to how your theories are applied and evolved to this project...

I tried the activities for the first time yesterday and the day before with our 14-month-old grandson. It was so much fun to watch him! He pointed at the screen almost the whole time and clearly was enjoying the experience. In fact, he literally laughed out loud as he watched the kids jumping on the trampoline. We looked at all the activities, even those that are a bit beyond his age level, and he never got bored. He enjoyed what was happening on the screen and I enjoyed watching him as he sat there with rapt attention.

This is going to be great fun! Thanks!

Mike
